mikey britton's roll cage install:
| mikey's roll cage was a pre-bent 10-point done by ken's custom chassis, installed by kordenbrock motorsports. material/specs: 1 5/8" & 1 1/4" DOM Mild Steel tubing done to NHRA Specifications (135+ trap, 9.99 or quicker) TIG welded at joints MIG welded base plates tunnel bars for increased rigidity this is truly one of the stiffest cars we have had the pleasure of working on. the cage came out looking decent. the main hoop was bent to two different degrees/angles causing for some unevenness (which unfortunately we couldn't take care of - as we didn't bend this set-up for mikey). |
